Dr. Angie Matos, MD, is a dedicated Pediatric Primary Care physician at Whole Family Health Center. Originally from Venezuela, Dr. Matos graduated from La Universidad del Zulia and completed her pediatric residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Matos is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to connect with families from diverse backgrounds. She brings a compassionate, patient-centered approach to caring for children and their families, ensuring her young patients receive the best care possible. Dr. Matos relocated to the United States in 2013 and now calls Florida home. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her son Lorenzo, two dogs Coco and Niko, and her husband Alfredo, with whom she loves to play pickleball. She also has a passion for baking and is excitedly preparing for the arrival of her baby girl, grateful for her growing family.
